Kaata Zero
A downloadable game for Windows
**Kaata Zero** is a free desktop Tic Tac Toe game for Windows. Play on a classic 3×3 grid against the computer or with a friend on the same machine.

## How to play
1. Download and run **KaataZero.exe**
2. Click **Play** on the splash screen
3. Open **Settings → Game Settings** for mode, difficulty, starter, skin, and sound
4. Click a cell (or press 1–9) to place your mark
5. Get three in a row to win

Install instructions
## Windows
1. Click **Download** and save **KaataZero.exe** (v2.0.0.0).
2. No installer — run the EXE directly from your Downloads folder, or move it anywhere you like (Desktop, USB, etc.).
3. **Java required:** install [Java 8 or newer](https://www.java.com/download/) if the game does not start.
4. If Windows SmartScreen appears: click **More info** → **Run anyway** (unsigned indie app).
5. On the splash screen, click **Play**.
6. Optional: **Settings → Game Settings** to set mode, AI difficulty, who starts, theme, and sound.
## First launch tips
- **Single player:** you are X, computer is O.
- **2 player:** two people take turns on the same keyboard/mouse.
- **Keys:** 1–9 play cells; **R** restart; **U** undo; **S** reset score; **Esc** quit.
## Troubleshooting
- **Nothing happens when I double-click:** install or update Java (JRE 8+), then try again.
- **Antivirus blocked the file:** restore from quarantine if you trust the download; file is from VersionPB / Paarth Batra.
